Ok ok ok ok....Again, it's been a very very I mean very long time since my last post...I know you all have been waiting patiently right next to your computers for something...anything...from me. My sincere apologies...So, here I am 1 month later...still busy as ever and looking at the snow that is furiously coming down outside my office window. Mother Nature where art thou? We need you right now to stop this madness. When you think April don't you think tulips, blue skies, green grass, shorts, flip flops...? Well, anyhow, that's Vermont for ya...What can do you?
We've had a crazy last few weeks here in the LSC admissions office. We had our final Accepted Student Day last Friday, which was a ball of excitement, energy and fun. I met more awesome prospective students...one being Danny from Long Island...thanks for coming, buddy and can't wait to see you in the fall! We all enjoyed not only having you, Danny, come but the other 50+ students and families that pushed on through passed the nutty weather we were so fortunate (yeah right) to receive that morning. Thank you all for coming again!
On the Hoyt homefront, I have been trying to get more runs in lately and I must add that my legs don't like me today (did hills yesterday). I have a race coming up Memorial Day weekend...it's the Burlington Marathon...I am doing the relay part, which is 1/2 of it (13.1miles). I did the full marathon 2 years ago, which was an absolute blast, but haven't made the time to train for a full one since then. Gotta put that on my life t0-do list.
Spring break starts today for our students, which is much needed because they need a break before exams start at the end of the month. You know what exams can do to ya?! Lots of sleepless nights and cram sessions.
I shall close...must feed the body...oh wow, it's still snowing out...imagine that?!!
Take care ya'll! I'll be back very soon.

Good to hear that Accepted Student Day went well. And don't worry, spring is coming soon. Good luck in the Vermont City Marathon!
