I literally can't believe it's February 20th already??!! It just dawned on me that I hadn't posted in FOREVER. Well, things have been busy at work and especially, outside of work....hence, the photo above...my wonderful pup is now feeling much better and running around like a madman...Can't you tell?! He is just so much fun.
So, how are things with all of you? Is everyone doing okay? Getting pumped for break on Friday?! Unfortunately, staff don't get the entire week off next week.....only one day...actually it's this coming Monday, the 25th, which I must add that I am looking forward to immensely....just being able to sleep in an extra morning and being able to take the pup for a long snowshoe hike makes me smile....good times ahead for sure!
On the "admissions front" we hosted our first Accepted Student Day of the spring (Yeah!!!!) this past Monday and we had a nice turnout of students/families. Students were treated to observing a class related to their intended major, a campus tour, delicious (always!) food in the dining hall, and a student and parent panel to get more information on what being a student here would mean. It was a very jam packed day for sure and I think some of the folks were ready for a nap...I know I was!! You know how long days can be especially when it's a Monday. All in all though, I had a super time connecting and reconnecting with prospective students.
It's almost 2 now and I still have 8 files ready for review that are staring me down on my desk...AHHHHH!!! It's time to get crackin on those...and till next time, have a fantastic rest of the day and week!
