...that was the theme of the Turkey Trot 5k I did Wednesday in St. Johnsbury (just south of LSC). I moved my feet alright and it was worth every bite of maple creme pie, sweet tater casserole (my all time favorite side dish), green bean casserole, deviled eggs, etc. that I consumed on Thanksgiving. What a yummy feast it was.
I hope each one of you had a fabulous day with your loved ones!
Time to move my feet again. (leftovers)

Home Sweet Home
I am back home now. Yipppppppeee! Boy, did I miss my bed....one of many things I yearned for while out and about on the east coast. I've been on the road for almost the entire fall season and things I didn't think I would miss I did like my coffeemaker, the water pressure in the shower, the fluffy cushions on the couch, my cereal bowl, the peaceful sounds and starry Vermont nights, long leisurely homecooked meals at the kitchen table, and oh, of course, more importantly, I missed my husband. It's overwhelmingly nice to be back at home and also, to be back on the LSC campus....it's something similiar to a family reunion except without the mounds of food. I love being home.
