Senioritis??

I have been to 70+ high schools so far this fall...it's been a whirlwind...but, a fun whirlwind. I love meeting you guys on your "home turf". I have to admit though that I sometimes have flashbacks to my high school days as a senior in Atlanta where I am originally from...Senioritis was definitely not something that really took hold of me (well, the couple months before graduation were very "senior-like"), but for others in my class, it was a way of life for 9 months....homework? what homework? test? what test? class? what class? detention? what detention? I have on occasion sensed it this fall when I walk down senior hallways and talk with seniors....senioritis seems to be in full effect for some of you guys. So...do you think senioritis is a "way of life" once you become a senior (like a rite of passage)? Should teachers be mindful of your senior status? And, also, should colleges look at your senior grades when making admissions decisions? If only your senior year lasted longer than a year, huh?
